An invitation for a dinner in Torano plus visiting the sculpture show, called:
Torano Notte & Giorno!
It is an annual show and this year the 10th edition, held on July 13 up to August 13 at this wonderful village!
This year it called SOLODONNE, means an event of female sculptress!
The statues were placed all around the village in different positions, indoor and outdoor! There are calassic and modern statues in diffeent designs and styles but mainly made of Carrara marble!
Among of all diferent marbles from Carrara area two statues atracted me and my friends more!
We were surprised to see Persian Red Travertine in middle of the village and another job of Iranian white onyx!
So, wherever there is art and artist we can trace Iran too!Persian Red or Rosso Soraya is the most beautiful and famous Red Travertine all over the world!
