Mehman e Maman (Mam's Guest)
The latest movie of Dariush Mehrjui seems to be a comedy genre but, deeply could be a serious glance to the real life of poor people in Iran, who trust only in god, to support them. The casting is wonderful and for Iranian who is familiar with their dialog, the dialogs are too realistic and efficient. It’s obvious that the life philosophy expressed in this movie never expires and gives you lots of hopes to resist even against death if you can have some sincere hands around. At the end everybody after a hard day goes to sleep with satisfaction of what they got at the end of the day to get ready for another hard day, coming up tomorrow with the same issues, problems and fights. At the same time the only awake, black and white cat, The Hunter, is going toward the small pool to complete the job that had started early evening for catching The Red White fish.
